Update on Residential Solar Retailers Program

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) is excited to welcome residential solar retailers and salespeople as our newest registrants. Online applications went live August 10th, and we are pleased to have many retailers and salespeople now registered.

To give retailers extra time to adjust to new compliance requirements, TDLR is temporarily suspending enforcement of the following administrative rules until November 1, 2026:
